Berg is the second song on Surreal, it was inspired by bands like Angels & Airwaves and Blink 182.

The writing process
The song first came about while messing around a synth and the constant bass-line played throughout the track. I then gave it a drum beat and started singing a melody over the top, slowly that became more refined. The chorus is very similar to the verses, but the electric guitar plays the distorted A chord over the top.
Other notes
- The whole song is pretty much one chord, but I also play the B and Csharp notes during the chorus.
- It may be obvious, but Berg is short for Iceberg. (And apparently Berg itself is a word too)
- I really enjoy the bass part in this song, especially considering most bass parts I write are based on the basic chord progression.
